  • At the initial meeting, The Development Group staff will determine if you need additional resources to create or strengthen a business plan.

Incentives

  • Bring a formal business plan, pro forma, and financials from the past three years (if applicable.)
  • At the initial meeting, The Development Group staff will determine if you need additional resources to create or strengthen the required documents.
  • The Development Group will run a credit check and, depending on the nature of the business, a background check before step 5.

3. Additional Resources

    needed, businesses will be referred to the Small Business Development Center.
    If additional resources are not necessary, business will move to step 5.

4. Schedule a follow up meeting with The Development Group staff.

  • The Development Group staff reviews updated documents.

5. Schedule meeting with The Development Group staff.

  • The Development Group staff will offer recommendations and next steps.

6. If seeking incentives, a presentation to the Industrial Development Authority board in a public meeting will be required.
